Shop Assistant

We're a small local shop looking for a friendly Shop Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. Day to day, you'll be serving customers at the counter, handling cash and giving the right change, and keeping our shelves stocked and looking tidy. There's a bit of everything really, so you won't be stuck doing the one thing all shift. The person who'll suit this role is someone who genuinely likes chatting with people and making them feel welcome. You'll need to be reliable, comfortable handling money accurately, and happy to be on your feet and keep busy. No experience needed if you've got the right attitude, though a bit of retail under your belt is always handy. Being a small independent business, you won't just be a number here. You'll get to know our regulars and feel like part of the team from day one. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
