Who collects it

My Local Jobs collects your personal information when you create an account and use the platform.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email and (optionally) phone.
• Job-seeker profile: home suburb/postcode and approximate location, availability, work preferences, headline/bio, work history, and any credentials you add.
• Application content: any video, cover note and availability you submit when applying.
• Business details: business name, ABN, location and ad content.
• Messages you exchange with the other party about an application.
• Usage data such as device/browser information and analytics about how you use the site.

Why we collect it

To create and run your account, show relevant local jobs, deliver your application to the employer, enable messaging, ratings and notifications, process payments for ad postings, keep the service secure, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we disclose it to

Your application and profile are shared with the business you apply to. We also use trusted service providers (for hosting, database and file storage, payments, and email/SMS and analytics) who process data on our behalf, and we may disclose information where required by law. Some of these providers may store or process data overseas.

Sensitive information

Some details you may choose to provide - such as work-rights status or certain credentials - can be sensitive information. We only collect these with your consent and use them to confirm eligibility for roles. Providing them is optional.

If you don't provide it

Some information is needed to create an account or apply for a job. If you choose not to provide it, we may not be able to offer you those features.
