Service Deli Assistant

IGA Glengala is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Service Deli Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a busy deli department, suited to someone who enjoys customer service and working in a fast-paced supermarket environment. Key Responsibilities: Serving customers at the deli counter Slicing, weighing, and packaging deli products Preparing and displaying deli items to a high standard Maintaining clean and well-presented deli displays Cleaning duties, including equipment, benches, and work areas Following food safety, hygiene, and store procedures Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For: Previous deli or supermarket experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and follow procedures Flexible availability, including Casual, Full time and Part time positions.
